Magic Kingdom
- Due to dwindling stock of the crystal-adorned Cinderella Castle replica figure by Arribas Brothers, the price has gone up by $12,000, from a price tag previously of a mere $37,500, the castle now retails for a whopping $49,500
- Most holiday merchandise at Magic Kingdom is now 30% off, with the sale specifically including headwear, apparel, tabletop, plush, and toys
EPCOT
- Let’s check in on demolition at EPCOT, as refurbishment continues inside the Innoventions East and Electric Umbrella building, which is the future location of Starbucks and a new restaurant
- Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, and the rest of the gang may be going on their last televised adventure in the coming year, but thankfully, their legacy will live on at EPCOT by way of the upcoming Disney’s DuckTales World Showcase Adventure, still slated to come to the park in the future
- Join us on our photo tour of EPCOT as we see the new Limited Edition “Soul” MagicBand, some new 2021 merchandise, Lotus Blossom Café now open daily, we eat some gingerbread ice cream in the France Pavilion, and more
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Each Kilimanjaro Safaris journey at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is different, making it an ever-changing attraction, and now new themed elements have been added to the attraction’s upcoming goat exhibit
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Say “mele kalikimaka” to your ‘ohana with two new gingerbread cookies at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort for the holiday season featuring Stitch and a Tiki head, respectively

- After reality TV personality Spectacular Blue Smith of “Love & Hip Hop: Miami” on VH1 faced charges for punching a Walt Disney World Cast Member while in line for an attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom last week, Smith is now reportedly banned from all Walt Disney World Resort properties following the incident
- Walt Disney World has issued a finalized update for New Year’s Eve activities, plus park hours as we ring in the New Year
- Today, Hawaiian Airlines announced that it will begin offering non-stop service between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Honolulu International Airport beginning March 11th, 2021
New Merchandise
- The new champagne-colored Minnie Mouse ears have arrived at Walt Disney World, after being announced only a few weeks ago
- Two new Minnie Mouse ear headbands have arrived at Walt Disney World, so if you’ve been searching for the perfect gift for a Disney-obsessed friend (or yourself), look no further than these cornflower blue and “The Little Mermaid” Minnie ear headbands
- Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort just released a new line of Maui print apparel but if you are looking for more merchandise and apparel with the resort’s logo, then look no further
- This year marks the 25th anniversary of Toy Story and the 10th anniversary of Tangled and to celebrate, Disney has had a bunch of new merchandise to celebrate both films including the most recent release of limited-edition pins for Toy Story and Tangled, along with a “Fine and Dandy 2020” pin, available at Walt Disney World
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom has three new Pandora – The World of Avatar face masks so you can truly immerse yourself in the land, featuring prints of Na’vi skin, Pandora at Night, or a traveler’s stamped luggage with locations around Pandora
- If you’re nostalgic for gummy bears and 80s cartoons, then Funko has you covered with new Funko Pops based on Disney’s Adventures of the Gummi Bears, now available for preorder from GameStop
- House of Sillage, which bills itself as the leading authentic French parfumerie, has partnered with Disney to bring The Disney x House of Sillage collection, including Mickey Mouse: The Fragrance and Minnie Mouse: The Bow Lipstick Case
- Two new face masks from National Geographic, each featuring the simple square National Geographic logo over a wonder of nature, have arrived at Walt Disney World
Entertainment and Media
- The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Alfred Molina, who played Doctor Octopus in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2, is confirmed to be returning in the new franchise’s currently untitled Spider-Man 3, alongside the already confirmed cast member Jaime Foxx and rumored cast members Andrew Garfield and Kirsten Dunst, leading to a possible live-action Spider-Verse film
The Walt Disney Company
- The Walt Disney Company has stated in an SEC filing that Chief Financial Officer Christine McCarthy’s employment contract will be extended from an expiration date of June 30, 2021 to a new expiration of December 31, 2022
