Today is New Year’s Day, so it’s still a few weeks until the Chinese New Year arrives. But if you want to get a head start on the Year of the Ox, you can check out the new apparel for the occasion at the Disneyland Resort!
There are several items in the collection, including a new Spirit Jersey and pair of Minnie ears, especially for the occasion. Let’s take a look!
Chinese New Year Spirit Jersey — $74.99
This red spirit jersey (a color symbolizing good luck in Chinese culture) features a beautiful pattern of illustrated animals. Naturally, being the Year of the Ox, an ox head is featured on the front.
The back features Mickey Mouse in a traditional Chinese outfit, with the phrase “Happy 牛 Year.” In English, the character is pronounced as “niú,” making this a cute way to say “Happy New Year.”
Chinese New Year Minnie Ears — $29.99
A similar pattern can be found on these Minnie ears.
The red sequined bow is accented with gold flowers, while “2021” is embroidered on the headband.
Chinese New Year Ladies’ T-Shirt — $36.99
Mickey and Minnie ride an ox on this beautifully-colored t-shirt. Cranes and birds border the illustration, with the classic Disneyland Resort logo on the bottom.

Meanwhile, the unisex t-shirt features the same Mickey and text as the back of the Spirit Jersey, making this a less expensive way to get the same effect.
