Magic Kingdom
- With the illuminated canopy framework almost complete on TRON Lightcycle / Run in the Magic Kingdom, plenty of workers were at the attraction yesterday
- And then today, we saw some more of the TRON Lightcycle / Run illuminated canopy framework has been installed
EPCOT
- We had a wonderful day at EPCOT sampling treats from the Festival of the Arts and enjoying a rare low crowd day, and we found so much great stuff that we thought we’d package it all up for you in our newest photo report
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance’s boarding groups have consistently been filling up within minutes of opening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios but in the past few days, the 1:00 PM boarding groups have remained open longer, sometimes up to several hours
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- It was announced yesterday that the beloved show, The Festival of the Lion King, will return in some form this summer, and Disney has since informed us that the show will return in a modified form to include safety measures meant to keep performers and audience members safe during the COVID-19 pandemic
- Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is now partially closed due to construction around some of the exhibits and while guests can still traverse the trail, some sections are unavailable and path directions have changed
Disney Springs
- A new secret menu watermelon flavored Minnie Dole Whip Cup is available for a limited time at Marketplace Snacks in Disney Springs
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- A section of the Disney Skyliner route will be unavailable to guests on Sunday, January 24 as the section goes offline for maintenance
- We’ve been keeping up with the Yacht Club Resort lobby refurbishment, and thought it was complete until this enormous rug made its grand entrance
Other Walt Disney World News
- Hours at all four Walt Disney World theme parks have been extended once again for February 7 through February 13, 2021
- Work on the Osceola Parkway entrance sign to Walt Disney World is moving quickly, and today most of the right half of the entrance has been painted or primed, and the Cinderella Castle decal and flags have been removed
Disneyland Resort
- In the wake of canceling the Annual Passholder program, Ken Potrock, President of Disneyland, spoke to the Orange County Register about the resort’s future membership options
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa
- ‘Olu Mel, the newest friend of Duffy who made his debut in 2018, is now meeting guests at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Hawai’i
New Merchandise
- Disney has been releasing all sorts of new Up merchandise online and in parks and now Walt Disney World has two new Up pin sets perfect for any Pixar fan and collector
- The first in the new “Cuckoo for Disney Pins!” collection as well as three limited-edition One Hundred and One Dalmatians 60th anniversary pins are now available at Disneyland Resort
- Two new big feet plush have arrived at Disneyland Resort and guests can now add Donald Duck and a Star Wars Porg to their cozy collection
- Today at World of Disney we found a few new merchandise items, including two new sweatshirts and a light yellow Disneyland mug
Entertainment and Media
- A Reddit user has discovered new promo art for Marvel’s upcoming film Eternals featuring new costumes for some of the film’s characters
The Walt Disney Company
- UBS has upgraded The Walt Disney Company from neutral to buy status, and lifted Disney’s price target to $200, up from $155
