Magic Kingdom
- The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover has been recently testing in advance of reopening, and today we noticed that the attraction’s queue area has been returned
- We came to the Magic Kingdom to check out what new things we could find here, and we’re glad we did, because we found lots of things to show you in our most recent photo report
EPCOT
- The demolition of Innoventions West at EPCOT advances as Walt Disney World prepares for its 50th Anniversary, and we have your look at the current state of the area
- The interior of the permanent home for MouseGear is beginning to take shape and with windows now installed, construction teams are starting to frame the shopping location’s interior space
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Disney often uses vinyl flags to draw attention to the rope barriers and discourage guests from ducking under queue lines, and with all the new changes that have come to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the last few years, it was long overdue to bring some new vinyl flags with an updated park logo decal to the lines of Hollywood Studios
- Hollywood Scoops is offering more than just ice cream, at least through this weekend, as the Disney’s Hollywood Studios quick service location is testing breakfast items including mimosas, Bloody Marys, and cinnamon rolls
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Construction crews working at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort broke a water main this afternoon and at this time, all of the resort’s various dining locations are closed except for Capt. Cook’s, which remains open with grab-and-go options, and the Pineapple Lanai quick-service window
- After the roof of the Monorail station and the platform were completely removed, the stairs and some supports have also been dismantled at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Other Walt Disney World News
- Paint crews are quickly working to give the Osceola Parkway entrance sign its 50th Anniversary makeover and with the Cinderella Castle and flag decorative elements removed, painting continues
- We have previously reported that one Skyliner route will be unavailable tomorrow, January 24th, but if you are currently at Walt Disney World or are planning a trip in the next week, you may experience some additional disruptions in the aerial gondola’s service throughout the week
Disneyland Resort
- According to a tweet from @imaginat1on, a Disney survey provides a glimpse into possible upcoming “membership” annual pass options, set to replace the now-cancelled Annual Passport program
New Merchandise
- Stitch is coming from shopDisney to the Walt Disney World Resort as the Beauty and the Beast ‘Stitch Crashes Disney’ collection arrives at World of Disney in Disney Springs on Monday, January 25
- Virtual runDisney events are the new normal for the time being but that doesn’t mean real runDisney merchandise is a thing of the past, as we’ve just found a new runDisney 2021 Minnie Mouse ear headband today
- A couple of years back, the first version of the Donut Minnie Ear Headband made its debut at Walt Disney World and now it’s back in a new form and ready to shine — literally
- Warm up your winter with a little tropical fun and check out Boutiki in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to find this new light-up statue featuring Tiki God, Maui, and everybody’s favorite Orange Bird
- With the 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts running through February 22, our favorite purple dragon Figment has made an appearance at World Showplace to express his love for pigment in this new Spirit Jersey face mask
- After arriving at Walt Disney World earlier this week, Disney nuiMOs are now available at Disneyland Resort along with all their different mix-and-match Disney outfits, including some designer items
