Magic Kingdom
- As we enter the final weekend of January, we’re in for a pretty exciting day at Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, with sights including a new Lightsaber, a reopened snack location, and new merchandise all wrapped up in this tidy photo report
EPCOT
- Since we checked in a few days ago, Disney has made fast work enclosing the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind façade with wood panels
- For months now, we’ve watched the triangular tiles of the future Play! Pavilion in EPCOT be replaced, and more than a month ago, the roof replacement came to a halt with one old tile still remaining, but finally the tiling is complete and cohesive as of today, with the final tile replaced
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Twitter user @vinbel12 posted a video featuring the Shaman of Song audio-animatronic on the Na’vi River Journey, slumped over and motionless
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will not be reopening to regular guests until June 6, when newly-refurbished rooms will be available and now we have a sneak peek of what the new room design looks like
Other Walt Disney World News
- For a limited time, Annual Passholders (and Disney Vacation Club members) can receive 30%-off select merchandise purchases at Walt Disney World Resort owned-and-operated locations from February 2 through March 2, 2021
Disneyland Resort
- Today, we noticed even more Star Wars details being added to the former Rainforest Café, which is the future location of the Star Wars Trading Post
Tokyo Disney Resort
- Due to the ongoing State of Emergency in the Tokyo area, Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea are limiting park capacity to only 5000 guests per day and as a result, the parks are at their lowest capacity levels in history, leaving an eerily empty Tokyo Disneyland, nearly devoid of other guests, that you can now experience right here or down below in the videos section
New Merchandise
- To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World this October, Walt Disney World: A Portrait of the First Half Century, a special Disney Editions Deluxe hardcover book, will be released just before the festivities are set to begin at the Florida park
- A recent trip to Gideon’s Bakehouse at Disney Springs has us eyeing some new merchandise available to purchase — Gideon’s Bakehouse face masks
- Disney is celebrating its princesses with this new youth clothing collection we recently found at Walt Disney World, associating the princesses with uplifting themes of strength and bravery across a set of overalls, slides and Spirit Jersey products, and more
