Magic Kingdom
- It’s apparently pineapple season at the Main Street Confectionery in Magic Kingdom as there are three new pineapple snacks available: a cupcake, a cookie, and fudge
- Alongside the new pineapple sweet treats in the Main Street Confectionery in Magic Kingdom, guests will also find a new cotton candy cupcake
- Join us for our most recent photo report from Magic Kingdom as we see the 2021 pressed pennies and medallions debut, Jingle Cruise ends its seasonal run, the Evil Stepsisters return, and more
- In a new piece from USA Today showcasing the offerings coming to Disney Parks in 2021 and beyond, it’s been confirmed that TRON Lightcycle / Run won’t open during Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary later this year
- Work has been moving along steadily on the refurbishment of the Rivers of America, and we spotted some workers down in the riverbed today, inspecting the recently laid track and doing some more excavation
- Though the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover was scheduled to reopen at Magic Kingdom this week, its refurbishment has now been extended through January 30, 2021
EPCOT
- According to a new USA Today report which includes quotes from Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro, it was confirmed that the Journey of Water Inspired by Moana walkthrough experience at EPCOT isn’t expected to open this year
- In the last few weeks, we’ve been hearing about the status of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, set to open sometime this year but between all the tours for TikTok creators and music testing, we thought we’d take to the Disney Skyliner and see for ourselves what’s really going on from above
- Today, technician Cast Members were spotted on the Harmonious Barge that is currently sitting in the World Showcase Lagoon at EPCOT, attempting to fix some dead pixels on one of the barge’s giant screens
- EPCOT has cut its post-holiday character cavalcades with only the Mickey and Friends World Tour and Princess Promenade remaining to make their way around the park, greeting guests while staying physically distanced
- Five months after the Jose Carioca animatronic fell over on Gran Fiesta Tour at EPCOT, his friend Donald Duck is having some trouble as yesterday, Donald was spotted propped against a box to prevent him from falling over and today he is gone entirely
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- For the fifth day in a row, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster has failed to open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, keeping the streak of not opening at all in 2021
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- This year’s button from the Disney Conservation Fund features an African elephant and is available now at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Since we last checked in on Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, even more of the Monorail station has been dismantled, and more than half of the roof is now missing
Other Walt Disney World News
- Disney has just released several deals for resort hotel rooms, for Florida residents and guests from all over can save up to 30% on rooms at select Disney Resort hotels for stays most nights April 18, 2021 through July 10, 2021, and Annual Passholders get a bit of a bump with up to 35% off on select rooms for the same dates
Disney Cruise Line
- Disney Cruise Line has posted a new job opening for a beach lifeguard at Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island, suggesting they may soon resume sailings
New Merchandise
- The newest open edition MagicBand available at Walt Disney World is a sleek navy blue that would look great with just about any park day outfit
- Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge may only let us visit Batuu (when it’s open), but you can feel at home in other Star Wars locations with these two new Spirit Jerseys from the Disneyland Resort
- There are four new face masks available at Downtown Disney District in Disneyland Resort featuring the Cheshire Cat, Stitch and Mickey Mouse, as well as a “Happiest Place on Earth” salute to the original Disney park
- Walt Disney World has five new necklaces by CRISLU perfect for both moms and Marvel fans
- Walt Disney World has a new yellow Mickey Mouse balloon-shaped popcorn bucket and while there have been several themed balloon popcorn buckets in the past three years, this one is sure to be very popular as it hearkens back to the style of the original red balloon bucket
