Magic Kingdom

• After the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won Super Bowl LV at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, down the road, Walt Disney World Resort has illuminated Cinderella Castle in the Buccaneers’ colors and in blue for healthcare heroes, as a beacon of celebration and hope throughout the night
• Immediately following the game, star players and long-time teammates Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski capped their extraordinary performances with a time-honored tradition – appearing in the iconic “I’m Going to Disney World!” commercial, airing on television and social media
• And then today, the Disney Parks Blog shared photos of Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski’s day in the parks
• Refurbishment work continues at Bonjour! Village Gifts at Magic Kingdom park and during our visit today, we noticed the building is still receiving its new color scheme
• There’s an interesting new snack item on the menu of Sunshine Tree Terrace in Magic Kingdom — guests can now get fried pork and vegetable pot stickers at the quick service window, known chiefly for their soft serve treats
• A section of the Peter Pan’s Flight queue in Magic Kingdom has been blocked off with construction walls

EPCOT

• Thanks to bioreconstruct on Twitter, we have an aerial view of how the demolition of Innoventions West is progressing at EPCOT

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

• We’re reporting direct from Walt Disney World after an evening full of tornado watches, but nothing will stand in our way to visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom and bring you this most recent photo report

Walt Disney World Resort Hotels

• The Kiki Tikis Splash Play Area at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has closed for refurbishment and possibly Moana re-theming, now through March 2021

Other Walt Disney World News

• Chevrolet has teamed up with Walt Disney World in a new commercial for the all-electric Chevrolet Bolt EUV in which the famous Hitchhiking Ghosts from The Haunted Mansion are seen hitching a ride in the Chevy Bolt

Disneyland Resort

• In a letter that commemorates the 20^th anniversary of Disney California Adventure Park today, Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock announced directly to cast members that a new ticketed festival-like event is coming to the resort mid-March, featuring food and beverage offerings, live entertainment, and more
• Imagineer Jim Clark shared several details and Easter Eggs from the Storytellers statue at Disney California Adventure in honor of the park’s 20th anniversary
• During our visit today, we noticed the churro cart at the end of Hollywood Land has a new offering: a Chocolate Crumble Pineapple Churro, now available at Disney California Adventure
• The new Star Wars Trading Post continues to take shape at the Disneyland Resort as it takes over the old Rainforest Cafe building at Downtown Disney District and today, we noticed even more theming elements have been added since our last visit

• According to cast members at the park, Disneyland will reopen Main Street U.S.A. (from the entrance up to Sleeping Beauty Castle) with limited capacity, in the same fashion as Buena Vista Street has operated at Disney California Adventure as of late, meaning shops and restaurants will open up and down the iconic avenue

Disneyland Paris

• The Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs attraction (Blanche-Neige et les Sept Nains) in Disneyland Paris is undergoing a refurbishment while the park is currently closed, and now we have our first peek inside the revamped attraction

New Merchandise

• To celebrate the 60th anniversary of One Hundred and One Dalmatians, Dooney & Bourke have collaborated with Disney on a new collection of handbags now available at Walt Disney World
• Three new cloth face mask sets are now available on shopDisney featuring designs from Black Panther, Star Wars, and Frozen

• While free MagicBands are no longer offered to resort guests, they can add MagicBands on to their resort stay at a “discounted” price through the Walt Disney World website and one exciting new option just dropped today — the Walt Disney World 25th Anniversary Castle Cake MagicBand
• New Bridal Minnie Ears have arrived at Walt Disney World Resort, sure to be the perfect accessory for the bride-to-be or newlywed
• Today, February 8, 2021, marks the 20th anniversary of Disney California Adventure and although we can’t visit most of Disney California Adventure today, there is a ton of new merchandise for the park available on Buena Vista Street
