This week, it’s a film filled with the luck of the Irish – it’s Darby O’Gill and the Little People!

Set in a small town in Ireland, this is the story of Darby O’Gill, an estate caretaker who loves to go down to the pub and entertain folks with his tales of meeting King Brian, the King of the Leprechauns!

One day, the lord of the estate brings in young Michael McBride, played by Sean Connery, to take Darby’s place. Darby sets his sites on matching his Daughter Katie with Michael, so they can all stay on the estate as one big happy family.

Darby tries to use King Brian to seal the deal, but it all goes wrong and Darby is forced to make a hard choice to save his daughter.
