BREAKING: Disneyland President Announces Jungle Cruise Will Reopen Summer 2021, New Annual Pass Membership Program Debuting by End of Year

On the latest episode of the D23 Inside Disney Podcast, Disneyland President Ken Potrock made two fairly big announcements.

The first is that the Jungle Cruise attraction at Disneyland will reopening “this summer”. While no date is specified, this is a more exact timeframe than was previously offered.

The attraction is currently closed and walled-off from guests as “cultural sensitivity” and inclusion changes are made to the ride. The Magic Kingdom version is staying open while alterations are made.

Potrock also stated that the new Disneyland Annual Passholder “Membership” Program will launch by the end of 2021. The existing Disneyland Annual Passholder program was ended and all passes cancelled in January. Disneyland is currently only selling single and multi-day tickets for theme park entry for the time being.
