Walt Disney World
Magic Kingdom
- Walt Disney Imagineering is hard at work preparing Cinderella Castle for the World’s Most Magical Celebration and now it seems that the final bunting has been added, indicating that the makeover will soon move upward to the adornments on the rooftops
- The Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station at Magic Kingdom is in the middle of a repainting just in time for the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World and we checked in to find that the giraffe vignette and the cream-colored train car are looking bright and cheerful with new coats of paint
- TRON Lightcycle / Run is quickly racing to the finish line over at Magic Kingdom as temporary supports began to be removed as the canopy took shape and this process has progressed rather quickly
- The centerpiece of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” at Walt Disney World continues to take on its new updated look as we see today, the roof just above the clock has been fixed up as well
- Like much else in Fantasyland, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel is undergoing some refurbishments in advance of the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World and the vignettes from Cinderella, surrounded by gold leaf embellishments, are currently being carefully restored
- The Jungle Cruise is receiving quite a facelift at both Magic Kingdom Park in Walt Disney World and Disneyland in California in an effort to promote inclusivity and Cultural sensitivity as several changes will be made to both the Jungle Cruise and Splash Mountain, with one of the biggest changes is the fleshing out of the attraction’s backstory with new character descriptions
EPCOT
- Guests who have visited the park in recent months are very familiar with construction walls and their accompanying detours as the massive transformation of EPCOT is well underway and new signage directing guests to Test Track, Mission: Space, the EPCOT Experience, and MouseGear has appeared on the construction walls recently erected near Spaceship Earth
- While construction has been stagnant since we first brought you news of the latest addition to the Italy Pavilion at EPCOT, more façade work has since been done on La Gelateria
- The storied history of EPCOT and Innoventions East continues as more framework has been installed as part of the reimagining of the theme park
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- The newest park treat, Everest Base Camp Macaroon, is shaped like the three iconic peaks of Mount Everest and is, of course, available near Expedition Everest in Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Between the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort and the Easter holiday coming up, there is plenty to celebrate at Walt Disney World and we swung by Captain Cook’s at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to have a taste of some of the new Easter Bunny Dome Cake
Other Walt Disney World News
- According to current plans for Brightline’s new rail line coming to Disney Springs, the train station may be incorporated into the Orange Garage, pinpointing it near the Disney Springs bus loop
- “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” is just around the corner at Walt Disney World and now the World Drive entrance sign is completed and features white lettering against a blue background with gray pillars, somewhat mimicking the original color scheme of Cinderella Castle
Disneyland Resort

- Disneyland Resort is no stranger to slightly unusual foods and flavors as earlier this year we gave the Brown Ale & Bacon Ice Cream from Salt and Straw a taste and today we tried a rather unusual selection from The Blue Ribbon Corn Dog Cart Blue Ribbon is famous for fresh-dipped corn dogs
Disneyland Paris
- Not long after revealing the layout of the proposed expansion and remodeling of the Disney Village at Disneyland Paris, OutsideEars is at it again, this time showing us concept art for the long-overdue makeover of the shopping, dining, and entertainment district — well, that or it’s a very elaborate April Fool’s joke
New Merchandise
- Make your morning coffee in one of these new Disney Park Icons and Monorail mugs, now available in World of Disney at Downtown Disney District
- Downtown Disney District has two new unique toys inspired by the Disneyland Resort parking structure icons, shaped like the icons for the Mickey and Friends and Pixar Pals parking structures
- Badalalala! At the World of Disney where we spotted some adorable Coffee Cups featuring our favorite personal healthcare companion that Big Hero 6 fans are sure to love
- Fans of The Haunted Mansion will be thrilled to use these new bottle stoppers during their next ball — as long as the ghostly ballroom dancers are invited, that is
