When Disneyland Resort reopened to Californians, guests staying at the resort’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa no longer had access to the special Disney California Adventure park entrance that had been a staple of the hotel since 2001. Disney has now announced that the special entrance will return for Disneyland Resort hotel guests to use.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, guests staying at the Grand Californian could take advantage of the hotel’s dedicated entrance to Disney California Adventure. This gate was a real perk. However, now they can only exit the park this way. Hotel guests currently need to enter the parks via Downtown Disney District, joining other guests in lining up for park entry — including Disney California Adventure.
Returning on May 28 to Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is the special entrance to Disney California Adventure park for Disneyland Resort hotel guests. This will also be used by guests staying at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel starting June 15th when it reopens.
