While entering Disney California Adventure, we were met with a few new character sightings. Disneyland Resort has a host of distanced meet and greets for Guests to interact with characters from a safe distance. Let’s show you who we encountered at Carthay Circle!
Goofy was dressed in his finest garb to welcome Guests back to Disney California Adventure!
He’s looking quite dapper in his plaid outfit.
Goofy interacts with the Guests from a platform and poses for photos.
Up above, we find Horace Horsecollar.
Horace waves to everyone on the ground from the terrace of Carthay Circle Lounge.
Back on the ground, Daisy Duck has taken stage.
The characters will rotate at various times throughout the day.
As with all the characters, Daisy seems happy to interact with Guests once again!
Next up: Mickey and Minnie Mouse!
The characters here are perfectly dressed for the historic occasion.
Both of them strike poses for photos.
Guests wave as they walk by. We’ve missed these character interactions!
Donald Duck also greets Guests in Carthay Circle.
Donald is playful today!
Snow White and Dopey have appeared on the other side of the fountain.
They interact with each other while interacting with nearby Guests.
Later in the day, Mickey and Donald appeared together.
Look who else showed up! It’s Oswald!
Oswald playfully interacted with the Guests in Carthay Circle.
He even knelt down to greet children better—from a distance, of course.
Clarabelle also joins in on the fun at Carthay Circle!
She eagerly waves and blows kisses to Guests.
Just when we thought we had “met” all the characters—surprise! Elsa and Anna made an appearance together.
Dressed in their costumes from Frozen 2, the sisters previously held a meet-and-greet inside Animation Academy.
