Magic Kingdom
- We spent another beautiful day here at the Magic Kingdom and while it was a quiet day today, we enjoyed checking out all the construction updates in this beautiful cooler weather and we want you to come along in this most recent photo report
EPCOT

- The former Gelati kiosk had provided EPCOT guests with the frozen delicacy right up until Gelateria Toscana‘s opening day, but there’s only room for one gelato stand in this theme park so the stand has now been removed from the Italy Pavilion
- The Morocco Pavilion at EPCOT has been home to many projects since Disney took over operations last winter and today, a large portion of the entrance plaza, including the large fountain, has been blocked off by planters
- It’s been a few months since we saw jobs posted for the upcoming Space 220 restaurant at EPCOT but Patina Restaurant Group, the restaurant’s owners, just posted seven new positions to Indeed
Disney Springs
- Guy Fieri fans will have to wait until May 21st to get their chicken fix as Chicken Guy! at Disney Springs will be closed for two days, May 19th and 20th
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels

- In an interview with StarWars.com, Walt Disney Imagineer Ann Morrow Johnson divulged details for the upcoming Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel and according to Johnson, when the Halcyon sets off next year, its leisurely cruise through the stars may be interrupted with unplanned detours
- Cape May Café at Disney’s Beach Club Resort has reopened, and we arrived bright and early on opening day for breakfast
- Cape May Café at Disney’s Beach Club Resort has reopened with a great family-style breakfast, but guests can also visit the café for dinner, so we did just that
Other Walt Disney World News

- Walt Disney World announced in an email to Annual Passholders that they would no longer receive complimentary MagicBands
- Since the COVID-19 pandemic shut down Walt Disney World last year, Annual Pass availability has been suspended but it seems that Walt Disney World will be selling Annual Passes again soon as the email that went out to Passholders today implied that Annual Passes will finally be available for purchase again by the time August 16th rolls around
- Jeff Vahle, President of Walt Disney World Resort, revealed via Instagram the new Cast Member nametag design celebrating the resort’s 50th anniversary, which was announced earlier this month
- Previously, signs at many shops around Walt Disney World indicated which side was the entrance and which was the exit to create one-way flow of traffic and recently, those signs have been removed
- Two new digital ticket designs are now available in My Disney Experience for Walt Disney World’s new MagicMobile service

- Although no announcements have been made, Orange County, Florida now qualifies for phase 3 of Mayor Jerry Demings’ reopening plan, which would lift all mask mandates
Disneyland Resort
- This week has brought us an incredible amount of updates about Avengers Campus, and now we know just how much punch some of the new food offerings will pack on the old wallet
- The Mark Twain Riverboat takes guests on a half-mile journey into the American frontier and now that it has reopened alongside the rest of Disneyland, we invite you to join us as we tour the Rivers of America once more
- Now that Disneyland Resort has reopened, we can’t wait to interact with our favorite characters once again so while at Disney California Adventure, we popped into the Disney Theater and to the Disney Junior Dance Party stage to see if we could catch any of them
- Beginning tomorrow, May 19, Disneyland and other Orange County, California theme parks will be able to raise their capacity from 25% to 35%, and shortly after this news broke, Disney updated theme park reservation availability to reflect the increased capacity for the rest of May
Tokyo Disney Resort

- Minnie Mouse’s final new seasonal costume, a casual summer beach vacation look, is coming to Minnie’s Style Studio at Tokyo Disneyland on June 1st and today, we finally got a look at the fourth and final outfit

Entertainment and Media

- Charles Grodin, best known for films such as King Kong, Beethoven, and The Heartbreak Kid, has passed away from bone marrow cancer at age 86, according to his son Nicholas
- In a partnership with the Ad Council and the COVID Collaborative, Disney has released a video message from Gonzo the Great and Pepe the King Prawn of the Muppets, promoting vaccination against COVID-19
Disney+
- Today on Twitter, the official Disney+ account revealed a new sneak peek at the highly-anticipated upcoming series Monsters at Work, Pixar’s first series streaming July 2nd
