After a bit of a rocky start with mobile ordering at the newly opened Avengers Campus, it looks like at least one restaurant has ceased allowing mobile orders at all. We noticed in the app today that Shawarma Palace is requiring people to order in person.

The notification on the screen just says mobile ordering is “not offered today”, meaning the service might return soon. This change could be due to a few snafus in mobile ordering at Avengers Campus recently. A few days ago the app notified guests that they must be present in the land before placing mobile orders. Reportedly, guests were trying to bypass the line to get in to Avengers Campus using mobile orders. Perhaps this development is in response to that very problem.
