With COVID-19 safety measures being relaxed, Space Mountain at Disneyland has wasted little time returning to its pre-pandemic state.

Physical distancing markers have been removed from the attraction’s queue, allowing guests to line up more compactly.

The residue from some of the decals remains on the ground. Hopefully those should be cleaned up soon.

The second floor of the former Starcade was also in use as an extended portion of the queue. Guests filled up the whole queue, with many taking advantage of the new guidelines that allow fully-vaccinated guests to no longer wear face coverings outdoors.

The markers seemed to be removed from the entire queue, regardless of whether it was outdoors or indoors.

As we approached the loading area, we could see that the plexiglass dividers were also no longer being used.

Cast Members loaded every row of the coaster train, as opposed to leaving a row open, which they had been doing since the attraction reopened.

Luckily, the ride is still as thrilling as ever!

Upon our return to Earth, we noticed that the screens showing ride photos had returned.

Even more interestingly, the huge watermark on the pictures being displayed was gone. All in all, it’s “all systems normal” at Space Mountain!
