We dropped by River Belle Terrace to try the River Belle’s Chopped Salad with BBQ Tofu for lunch during our day at Disneyland. The restaurant is nestled on the edge of Frontierland, near Pirates of the Caribbean.

Both outdoor and indoor seating was open. It was a beautiful afternoon, so we picked a table on the patio.

The restaurant is primarily using QR code menus, but paper menus are available upon request.
River Belle’s Chopped Salad with Tofu – $19
Romaine Lettuce, Black Beans, Garbanzo Beans, Pickles, Roasted Corn, Red Bell Pepper, and Tomatoes topped with Fried Onions and served with a side of BBQ Ranch Dressing and a choice of Chicken, Brisket, or BBQ Tofu

This is a simple dish that hits the spot. The tofu is soft and gently fried, with no breading or grease to weigh it down. It is lightly seasoned with the signature rub and drowned in BBQ sauce.

The sauce wasn’t overwhelming, but we recommend ordering it on the side for better control. If you aren’t a fan of BBQ ranch, you can request a regular ranch or a vinaigrette.

There was a hidden chopped pickle we could have done without.

Overall, this was a great vegan option (though you can order it with meat). If it had jalapeño and cheese, it would have been a 10/10. All of the ingredients were fresh and tasty. We would order this again.
