Magic Kingdom

EPCOT
- Exterior construction at the site of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind has been slow in recent months, but this weekend construction began on the base of the Xandarian ship that will sit outside the new rollercoaster.
- Prices have increased at dining locations throughout the France Pavilion of EPCOT.
- Physical distancing markers have also been removed from the queues for Spaceship Earth, Soarin’ Around the World, Living With the Land, and Test Track at EPCOT.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Internal casting has begun for off-stage roles at Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
- Star Tours is the latest Disney attraction to begin seating guests in every row once again, as more and more safety measures are reduced around the resort.
- Several major attractions have had all of their extended queue markings removed recently, reducing the need for physical distancing while guests wait in line.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Work is progressing swiftly over at the Polynesian Village Resort on both the porte-cochère roof and the monorail walkway entrance as crew members race to finish construction.
Disneyland Resort
- We dropped by River Belle Terrace to try the River Belle’s Chopped Salad with BBQ Tofu for lunch during our day at Disneyland.
Disneyland Paris
- Our friends at The Sequoia Gang have revealed concept art of Iron Man’s famous Hulkbuster suit in its new home in the former Blockbuster Cafe, as well as a look at Paris’ Pym Test Kitchen.
Entertainment and Media
- A new biography from author Dave Bossert about Imagineer Claude Coats is coming out on November 16, 2021 titled Claude Coats: Walt Disney’s Imagineer: The Making of Disneyland From Toad Hall to the Haunted Mansion and Beyond.
- A trailer was released during E3 for a new “Pirate’s Life” expansion featuring Jack Sparrow and other characters from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise coming to Sea of Thieves later this month.
- Another trailer was also released during E3 for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy video game coming this October.
- Unfortunately we’ve received news that the talented actor Ned Beatty, voice of Lotso from Toy Story 3, has sadly passed away today from natural causes.
- In anticipation for the new animated series, Entertainment Weekly brings us a preview for the “Spidey and His Amazing Friends” theme song and intro, which features Spider-Bots.
