The Sailing Ship Columbia is back in service in Disneyland Park’s Rivers of America. This replica of the Columbia Rediviva takes guests on a short trip around Tom Sawyer Island.
The Columbia sets sail from the same dock as the Mark Twain Riverboat.
As a full-scale recreation of a real sailing ship, the Columbia is full of interesting and realistic set pieces.
Guests are free to stand on the ship’s deck or go below decks during the journey.
Downstairs are more props (as well as some seating).
As the ship passes the fort on Tom Sawyer Island, a Cast Member aboard shoots a cannon.
Look out for some views that can only be seen when sailing the Rivers of America.
