Disney Wonder Will Resume Sailing on October 1 From San Diego

Disney Cruise Line has announced that the Disney Wonder will begin sailing again starting October 1, 2021. It will sail out of San Diego, with three-night cruises stopping in Ensenada, Mexico, and four-night cruises stopping in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Disney Cruise Line has subsequently canceled the Disney Wonder sailings scheduled to leave on September 24 and 26. Guests who paid for these sailings in full will have the option of a full refund, cruise credit, or to be moved to a modified Disney Wonder itinerary and receive onboard credit and a 25% discount on a sailing taken before September 30, 2022. Guests who have not paid in full will automatically receive a refund of what they have paid so far. These guests will receive emails soon.

Guests booked on the seven-night Disney Wonder voyage scheduled to depart on October 1 and the five-night voyages departing October 26 and 31 will automatically have their reservations changed to four-night itineraries with the same departure dates. They will be refunded the difference in cost. Guests that remain on their original sail date will also receive an onboard credit and a 25% discount that can be applied to most sailings taken by September 30, 2022. Guests may also move or cancel their reservation instead.

For all sailings, Guests 12 years of age and older must be fully vaccinated and take a COVID-19 test upon embarkation. Guests 11 years old and under are not required to be vaccinated but must take a pre-trip rapid PCR test or lab-based PCR test for COVID-19, as well as a rapid COVID-19 test upon embarkation. The CDC is currently recommending some high-risk passengers avoid cruising.

On November 5, 2021, the Disney Wonder will depart San Diego on a 14-night sailing through the Panama Canal to Galveston, Texas, with stops in Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, Cartagena, and Cozumel. All Guests on this voyage, regardless of age, must be fully vaccinated in order to sail.
