PHOTOS: Paradise Bay Drained for World of Color Maintenance at Disney California Adventure

Last week, we reported that the World of Color fountains had been raised at Disney California Adventure for maintenance and repairs after 18 months of dormancy. Now, nearly all of Paradise Bay has been drained for this ongoing maintenance as Disneyland Resort potentially prepares to bring back this beloved nighttime spectacular.

Just like last week, the World of Color fountains are still out in the open for maintenance.

Conduits of wire and cables usually submerged are also exposed for maintenance and refurbishment.

Over by Incredicoaster‘s launch, pumps to drain the bay are still visible, along with massive conduits of wire.

While the Disneyland Resort has remained tight-lipped about the return of World of Color, the ongoing maintenance suggests that they intend for it to be sometime in the future. Of course, stay tuned to Disneyland News Today for the latest as this story develops.
