A returning favorite to the Halloween seasonal offerings, the Maleficent Churro, has roared its way back into Disneyland Resort and we can’t wait to try this fiery favorite again!
This churro can be found at the churro cart next to Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Maleficent Churro – $5.75
Chocolate cookie crumbles blended with colored sugar covered churro.
The treat is the standard churro size and comes with a generous coating of chocolate sandwich cookie crumbles and green sugar. A version of the churro with added purple icing arrived this year in Walt Disney World for the Boo Bash festivities.
Marhsmallow Dipping Sauce – $1
The churro comes with or without the marshmallow dipping sauce, but we recommend grabbing some.
The churro itself was enjoyable, it sparkles green in the light and the dusting of cookie crumbles makes it stand out from a regular churro to give it some chocolate and dimension.
The sauce is thick, but not too sweet and adds some creaminess to the to the churro. We liked this one and would get again, but be warned – it does turn your mouth greener than a dragon’s flame.
