With “Muppets Haunted Mansion” arriving on Disney+ this Friday, even more props have been added to the photo ops at the Downtown Disney District, making them a fun, Muppetational experience!
By the Honda Ridgeline, several crates have been added with puns and Muppets, and Haunted Mansion references aplenty.
Next to the pickup truck, a crate with “Re-hearse-al Wardrobe” is addressed to none other than The Great Gonzo.
Just be sure to clean those costumes, as it seems they came from Big D Mold & Spore.
On the truck, there are six crates, each with its own fun label.
Hey, the future gets hard to see with a smudged crystal ball!
A Ghostly Positioning System may be particularly helpful as Gonzo and Pepe spend the night at the mansion.
Hopefully, those stretching portraits are extra long, because they’re in an awfully small box.
Here’s a hatbox in a box for Gauzey Bear! Wocka wocka!

This truck is definitely worth taking a close look at the next time you’re at Downtown Disney.
Over at the photo op, the final props and set pieces have been added, with images of some Muppets in their corruptible mortal state.
At the mansion backdrop, tombstones for Gonzo and Pepe have been erected.
Will they survive the night or be dearly departed?
Fixtures of the gargoyle candleholder have been added to each beam. But since this is Muppets Haunted Mansion, the gargoyle has been replaced with Mahna Mahna, with the candles being Snowths.
On the opposite end, the busts of Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker have been installed, looking both ominous and humorous.
Finally, the long side with the Animal wallpaper has had Muppet parodies of paintings seen in the classic attraction installed.
In a lenticular portrait, Yolanda takes the place of Medusa, which changes to become a stone statue.
In the middle, guests can see large versions of the Muppet stretching portraits we’ve previously seen.
In another lenticular picture, Kermit the Frog undergoes a disquieting metamorphosis to become the Ghost Host.
With all these cool nods to both the Muppets and The Haunted Mansion, these are definitely worth checking out before they vanish!

Was stoked to get pictures with the new props yesterday before heading back to Texas. I’m excited for this to come out tomorrow, but was hoping there would have been merchandise for it already when at Disneyland this week
Shocking! Downtown Disney in California gets this awesome Muppets photo op and Disney Hollywood Studios has an entire Muppets area within the park and gets NOTHING! Thanks WDW for keeping your record going as the worst Disney park in existence!
