- Plaza Restaurant on Main Street U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom is getting in on the 50th anniversary festivities with a few new items, so we grabbed a reservation to try all of the new offerings, including the disastrous “Cheers to 50 Years” dessert
- Guests can use vintage ticket props for unique photo ops during the 50th anniversary celebration

New Merchandise
- On Tuesday, we spotted a new set of olive green-colored Minnie Mouse ears at the Disneyland Resort and now the latest shade of the beloved Mouse’s endless rainbow of headbands has made its way across the country to Walt Disney World
- One piece of merchandise many have awaited since the 50th Anniversary celebration’s launch was the Mickey Mouse popcorn bucket to accompany the Minnie Mouse sipper we saw on launch day, and it has finally arrived at the popcorn cart at in the Hub in the Magic Kingdom today
- After a Citizen watch was spotted with retro-style artwork on its face last week, we’ve finally found its brother in a new Bulova pocket watch with the same art at Uptown Jewelers in the Magic Kingdom, allowing guests to add the Disney flair to their train conductor aesthetic
- Back in September, we caught wind that special 50th Anniversary EARidescent M&Ms would be coming to the Magic Kingdom on October 1st and we finally spotted them this morning (over two weeks late) at the Main Street Confectionery
- Featuring plenty of throwbacks to historical designs, there’s something for everyone young and old in this “Make Your Favorite” retro-inspired merchandise collection coming November 18 to Tokyo Disney Resort
- Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has two 50th anniversary engravable ID tag designs available in the machine outside Moana Mercantile
- Harveys is known for making much sought-after bags and accessories out of seatbelts, printed in some fantastic Disney designs and now they’re about to release a set of fold wallets that are to die for
