Magic Kingdom

- “Disney Enchantment,” the new fireworks spectacular replacing “Happily Ever After,” officially premiered to guests last night.
- The 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World has begun, and last night after the first performance of Disney Enchantment, we got to see Cinderella Castle transform into a Beacon of Magic for the celebrations.
- Today, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the park, Magic Kingdom debuted not one but two different Mickey balloon popcorn buckets to excited guests.
- Drink up me hearties, yo ho! A Pirate’s Adventure ~ Treasures of the Seven Seas has reopened to guests at the Magic Kingdom.
- While we’ve been tracking the construction of a new ferryboat ramp at the Magic Kingdom for some time now, the latest update all but confirms that it’s been designed for guests to directly board the second story of boats.
EPCOT

- In honor of the grand opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Sunshine Seasons in EPCOT has a new Remy-inspired cheesecake.
- Brazil is back for the 2021 EPCOT International & Wine Festival as one of a handful of booths opening in October instead of July.
- Sprinkle a little pixie dust because we are flying through EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom today in a photo report.
- The Japan Pavilion at EPCOT is once again filled with the sounds of drums with the return of Matsuriza.
- While several music acts came back to EPCOT yesterday, over at the Italy Pavilion, the silence was golden as Sergio the Italian Mime returned.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios

- While Magic Kingdom has its own EARidescent blue 50th anniversary balloon, Disney’s Hollywood Studios has a white version.
- Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we kept the sugar train a-rollin’ with a new pineapple treat from the Trolley Car Café.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom

- Over at Tamu Tamu Refreshments, we spotted a new Birthday Muffin for breakfast and a classic twist on an old favorite in Scar’s Lair.
- Unfortunately for guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom who were hoping to see the brand-new daytime show Disney KiteTails, all performances for the afternoon have been canceled.
- After 19 years (or 65 million, if you prefer), the meteor has finally come for the dinosaurs, as much of the props and track of Primeval Whirl have been reduced to a mound of debris.
- Following our earlier report that the afternoon showings of Disney KiteTails at Animal Kingdom had been canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances,” a TikTok video shows the large Baloo kite trapped in a tree.
- Restaurantosaurus offers several themed menu items to celebrate the anniversary, so we just had to stop by the dig site for a dino-sized lunch.

- You can now listen to the anthem of Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary on most major platforms.
New Merchandise

- New limited edition and Annual Passholder Halloween pins have been released at Walt Disney World.
- Some new “Ratatouille” merchandise was released during previews of the ride, but there is even more available now.
- Limited edition “Alice in Wonderland” pins celebrating the film’s 70th anniversary are now available at Walt Disney World.
- In honor of the grand opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure yesterday, Annual Passholders can get an exclusive new MagicBand.
- It’s no trick; the latest round of pin releases at the Disneyland Resort is one big treat!
- New pins immortalize an opening day attraction or landmark from 50 years ago.
- The Starbucks mug ornament matching the new vintage-style Disney’s Animal Kingdom tumbler is now available at Creature Comforts.
