Walt Disney World
Magic Kingdom
- Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen has several new drinks and a new short rib meal — plus the return of a Verandah Restaurant appetizer — all to celebrate Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary.
- If you need help with your park tickets while at Magic Kingdom but don’t want to go all the way back to the entrance of the park, you’re in luck because the ticket office in Liberty Square has reopened again.
- Be Our Guest at the Magic Kingdom is serving up nostalgia in the form of “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea” menu items.
- It was a perfect fall day here at Magic Kingdom. We had a Pumpkin Spice Latte in our hands and Lightning Lane ready to go on our app; join us in the latest photo report.
EPCOT
- The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will be returning in 2022 from January 14 through February 21.
- With Creations Shop and Club Cool now open, construction in the World Celebration neighborhood of EPCOT is now focused on the new quick-service restaurant and Starbucks bakery.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- It was previously announced that the Tam Tam Drummers of Harambe would be returning to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and we now know they will be back on November 7, 2021.
Other Walt Disney World News
- Monorail Coral is the latest in the Walt Disney World Monorail fleet to be refurbished.
- Walt Disney World theme park hours are now available through the end of 2021.
- Orlando International Airport is now offering a Reservation Lane powered by Clear for travelers to reserve a time slot for going through security.
- According to a Walt Disney World representative, refunds will be issued automatically to guests who purchased Individual Lightning Lane selections that were affected by ride closures.
Disneyland Resort
- Just over two weeks after it was announced, Plaza Point Holiday Shoppe has opened at Disneyland Park.
- Snow caps have been added to the top of some of the turrets of Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland Park.
- In a strange social media move, the Disneyland Twitter account seems to have made an out-of-character dig at neighboring theme park Universal Studios Hollywood.
Tokyo Disney Resort
- After months of speculation and off-and-on rehearsals, we finally have confirmation that Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade: DreamLights will return to the streets of Tokyo Disneyland starting November 1!
- Thanks to new guidelines from the Chiba Prefectural Government, park capacity will increase once again, and operating hours will finally be extended starting November 1.
Disneyland Paris
- DLP Report has shared reopening time frames for three Disneyland Paris attractions that are currently closed for refurbishment.
Disney Cruise Line
- Disney Cruise Line will debut a brand-new cruise ship float during this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
New Merchandise
- A new PatcheD set celebrates some Magic Kingdom classics with four adhesive patches.
- Disney is celebrating the anniversary of the Monsters, Inc. with limited edition pins featuring Roz, Mike, and Sully.
- With the air getting a little chillier, new winter apparel inspired by different Disney characters and icons has arrived at Walt Disney World.
- A new “What If…?” Apple Watch band has joined the collection of Marvel products at the Backlot Premiere Shop in Disney California Adventure.
- If Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is your home away from home, then this new merchandise is for you.
- Head on over to Creations Shop in EPCOT to get your hands on this adorable new Grogu (“Baby Yoda”) hair accessory.
- A new tee for the Worldwide Engineering Brigade (WEB) of Avengers Campus is now available at Disneyland Resort.
- A new youth pajama set at Walt Disney World comes with both long and short pajama bottoms. Even better, the shorts look just like Mickey’s!
- A new dress inspired by Edna Mode from “The Incredibles” is now available at The Disney Dress Shop in Downtown Disney District.
- A new line of Disney Vacation Club apparel, plus a sticker, tote bag, and Tervis tumbler, are now available at Walt Disney World.
- New Apple Watch bands have been popping up at Walt Disney World for the last few weeks and the latest additions to the collection are these new Grogu and “Up” bands.
- Tie-dye patterns are back in style, and now you can show off your love of Walt Disney World with these new tie-dye t-shirts.
- Two new limited edition pins have arrived at Walt Disney World, now available in Frontier Trading Post at Magic Kingdom.
