Adam Shankman (“Hairspray,” “The Wedding Planner”) is directing. Composer Alan Menken and lyricist Stephen Schwartz are back to write new songs for the musical.

Also returning to the cast is Patrick Dempsey as Giselle’s husband, Robert Philip; James Marsden as Prince Edward; and Idina Menzel as Nancy Tremaine. Maya Rudolph will be playing Malvina, the film’s villain, and Kolton Stewart will be playing her son.
