Gael Garcia Bernal will be starring in a Marvel Halloween special that will air on Disney+, presumably in the fall of next year.

Production on the special is set to begin in early 2022. Plot and character details have not been announced, though it’s possible Bernal would be playing an iteration of Werewolf by Night, a moniker used by both characters Jack Russell and Jake Gomez.

Bernal most recently starred in M. Night Shymalan’s “Old,” but Disney fans may know him best as the voice of Hèctor in “Coco.” He won a Golden Globe for his role in the TV series “Mozart in the Jungle.”
