More and more decorations keep going up at Disney California Adventure as the park prepares for the Christmas season and the 2021 Festival of Holidays, and our latest visit to the park found the Christmas tree finally towering over Buena Vista Street once more!

The Christmas tree towers nearly 50 feet above Buena Vista Street and features all kinds of ornaments themed to both the holidays and the park itself.

Easily visible are ornaments themed to Santa Claus and candy canes, but also the Red Car Trolley. Shimmering white garland runs up and down the tree, and the various ornaments take up virtually every square inch of real estate.

Multicolored lights run all along the tree with giant bauble and themed ornaments as well as giant candy canes hanging off other areas.

Of course, under the tree are a number of figures including a truck that says “DCA Express”, retro-style Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck toys (the former of whom has suitcases that say “California or Bust”), and a small train running around the base.

The Christmas tree will be up throughout the entire holiday season, so be sure to snap a picture with it on your next trip to Disney California Adventure! And of course let us know in the comments which tree you like more, Disneyland Park’s or Disney California Adventure’s!

  1. It’s magical, zero doubt. But my heart gets sad every time businesses start Christmas in November, as if Thanksgiving and its associated love and fellowship at the tables of family and friends are meaningless and not worthy of celebration.
