PHOTOS: See ‘The Mandalorian’ Grogu Balloon Inflated Ahead of Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is back this year after a television-only 2020 version due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Families will gather in New York City and around televisions to take in the spectacle. Among the parade’s six new balloons is Grogu from “The Mandalorian.” We were able to snap a few photos of the balloon after it was inflated tonight in Manhattan.

Grogu is kept grounded by netting secured by weights.

He holds his favorite toy, a silver ball from the end of a Razor Crest control lever.

The balloon’s design is described as Funko POP!-inspired.

Grogu is staged behind a bowling ball and pins, directly in front of Snoopy.

This side view shows the size of the balloon. If you love the new Grogu balloon, merchandise is already available.

Will you be watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade to see Grogu? What other balloons are you excited to see return? Share your thoughts in the comments.
