The Muppets are often seen by many fans as criminally underused by Disney, even in the theme parks, with Muppets Haunted Mansion being the first major Muppets project in several years. But during Disney Merriest Nites, an after-hours hard-ticket event at Disneyland, the Muppets take to Main Street, U.S.A., aboard the Omnibus to regale guests with Christmas Carols! The show description reads, “Join the Muppets for Christmas Carols, Christmas cheer, and Christmas… chickens?” And in typical Muppets fashion, there’s plenty of hijinks, hilarity, and mayhem for everyone to enjoy. The Muppets roll down Main Street U.S.A. on the Omnibus decorated with curtains, ornaments, and garland before parking in the hub near Sleeping Beauty Castle.

From there, Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, Pepe, Camila, and another chicken all take center stage to joke around and sing a few Christmas carols.

The performers here truly know how to embody the Muppets and make them come alive, the crowd was very energized and clearly excited to see the Muppets back in the parks again. The show is poppy, entertaining, and keeps Guests engaged for sure.

The show is nine minutes long and performs four times per night during Disney Merriest Nites at Disneyland, at 8:10 p.m., 9:00 p.m., 10:30 p.m., and 11:30 p.m.
