Festival of Holidays 2021 at Disney California Adventure doesn’t officially begin until November 12, but the booths opened up early yesterday. We’ve tried some new items and now it’s time for three returning favorites at A Twist on Tradition Marketplace.

Reimagined Beef Wellington – $8.50
with Oikos Greek Yogurt-Onion Sauce
The Mickey-shaped puff pastry here is pretty adorable and was light and easy to cut.
The filling tasted like stroganoff, except without the noodles. The meat was tender and still had good flavor.
The microgreens were a fresh addition amidst the heavy beef sauce, buttery crust, and creamy topping.
This wasn’t much of a deviation on Beef Wellington as the “twist” would imply, but it’s still very good, and we would get it again.
Reuben Potato Tots – $7.00
with Russian Dressing and Rye Toast Crumble
These came with a huge portion of tots covered in sauerkraut and chunks of ham. It may have been better with shredded meat, but overall for the price, this was well received.
Churro Toffee Cold Brew (Non-Alcoholic) – $6.50
Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company Mexico Origin-blend Coffee, Demerara and Cinnamon Sugar, Vanilla Bean and Almond Milk topped with Whipped Cream and Churro Toffee pieces
This drink returned from the Holiday Duets Marketplace in 2019.
We found the flavor of this coffee to be just like every other Joffrey’s coffee cold brew, with a hint of vanilla. It was a bit watery, but as the whipped cream got stirred in, we found ourselves liking it more. Obviously, anything with churro toffee on top is a win. We decided we would drink this over our regular Starbucks cold brew as we wandered the parks this time of year, as it isn’t as sweet. Cold brew fans should check this drink out.
