The Festival of Holidays is underway at Disney California Adventure, bringing a wide variety of seasonal cuisine, but one Marketplace has an item that you make yourself.
The Treats for Santa Marketplace is located within the “Santa’s Holiday Visit!” overlay of Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.
The stand is located near the Tunnel Tree, on the southern end of the trail.

We were told by a Cast Member that the Holiday Mix, which was previously announced to be on the menu at this Marketplace, would not be available here for this season. Meanwhile, the hot buttered rum is also available at the Making Spirits Bright Marketplace.
Mickey Snowman Cookie Decorating Kit – $8.25
The kit comes with a Mickey snowman cookie, along with red, white and green frosting and red and green Mickey sprinkles.
The cookie on its own is fine. It’s softer than in years past, but still not a great cookie. Buying this is more for the experience of decorating than the taste of the cookie, so it’s not a big deal.
The frosting is very thick and very sweet, but the fact that it comes in a piping bag is a nice touch. Without scissors, it’s hard to get a very clean edge to open the bag, but it still works well enough.
This is a fun little activity and has become a holiday tradition for our family, but again, it’s not really about the cookie, it’s about the fun of decorating it.
Maple Hazelnut Hot Buttered Rum – $15.00
Rum and maple syrup with flavors of hazelnut, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove topped with house-made salted caramel whipped cream
This drink is perfection on a chilly night. The salted caramel whipped cream and maple syrup cut the alcohol, making this as easy to drink as possible.
Don’t get us wrong — it’s still quite strong — but you won’t taste the rum through this perfect nectar-like mix.
