Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Disneyland to Start Using Standby Queue on November 22

Disneyland will be testing a standby line for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge starting Monday, November 22.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance has been using a virtual queue since it opened in January 2020. The version of the ride at Disney’s Hollywood Studios started using a standby line instead of virtual in late September.

As with Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disneyland is leaving open the possibility that a virtual queue will be used on certain days or during certain times. In these cases, guests will need to be in Disneyland Park to sign up for the virtual queue.

Disneyland previously tested switching between standby and virtual queues with Indiana Jones Adventure. WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure began using a standby line two weeks ago.

  1. This happens in the middle of my trip, I have mixed feelings based on what happened at WDW the first few days and the lines being insane. Plus now I have to make 2 teenagers rope drop.
