- Hours at the Magic Kingdom have been extended on December 30th and 31st, most likely for the return of New Year’s Eve fireworks.
EPCOT
- New Cast Member costumes debuted today that are partially made from recycled plastic bottles in World Showcase.
- Annual Passholders visiting EPCOT during the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays will be able to pick up a Passholder-exclusive cup.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Annual Passholders will have access to exclusive seating areas for the Disney KiteTails daytime activation from December 1st through 15th.
Disney Springs
- Our latest photo report from Disney Springs showcases the new Disney Parks board games, Dooney & Bourke 50th bags, and much more!
Other Walt Disney World News
- Walt Disney World has abruptly halted sales of all but its lowest tier Annual Passes ahead of the busy holiday season.
- Ticket sales have also been halted for select days at Walt Disney World during November and December.
- Disney Genie, Genie+, and Lightning Lane were curiously not acknowledged once at this weekend’s Destination D23 event.
- Nor were the return of parking lot trams at Walt Disney World mentioned at all, despite a promise for their return to Disneyland Resort.
- Blizzard Beach will remain closed on November 24th due to forecasted cold weather.
Disneyland Resort
- The new Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge VR experience has opened today at the Downtown Disney District.
- Pelican’s Landing, the new themed seating area in New Orleans Square has finally opened, so we stopped in to take a look.
- The very addictive and delicious Bao Bun with seasonal fruits has returned to the Lucky Fortune Cookery at Disney California Adventure for Festival of Holidays.
- We also tried the new Mickey Snowman Cookie Decorating Kit at Disney California Adventure as part of the Festival of Holidays.
Tokyo Disney Resort
- Our latest photo report from Tokyo Disneyland shows off the Christmas decor at the park and the sad lack of the Country Bear Jingle Bell Jamboree, among many other new developments!
New Merchandise
- The previously-announced holographic Dooney & Bourke Luxe Collection bags have finally gone on sale at Walt Disney World.
- A new Nike golf polo themed to Disney’s Contemporary Resort is now on sale.
- Now your furry friends can stay toasty this winter with a new velour Mickey Spirit Jersey for pets!
- You can also keep yourself warm with new Mickey & Friends and Star Wars fuzzy sweaters at Walt Disney World.
- If sweaters aren’t your style, there’s new quilted Mickey Mouse apparel now on sale at Walt Disney World as well.

- Some new $100 gift cards that come bundled with pins are on their way soon to Walt Disney World, and we got a first look today.
- If you’re looking for new cheesy T-shirts to wear at Walt Disney World, there’s a few meme-style shirts on sale now.
- Over at EPCOT, merchandise themed to Topolino (or Mickey Mouse, as you Americans might call him) arrived at the Italy Pavilion today.
- A whole slew of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge pins has landed at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
- There’s also a new Loungefly belt bag themed to The Mandalorian that you can pick up today at Walt Disney World.
- At Disneyland Resort, a new jeweled red Minnie ears headband is now available.
- The first set of merchandise themed to the upcoming film Encanto has arrived at Disneyland.
- Tons of new nuiMO’s Spirit Jerseys are now at the Disneyland Resort, including a couple of the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary versions.
- New youth pajamas themed to The Aristocats and The Little Mermaid surfaced at the Disneyland Resort today.
- Several new shirts themed to Mickey, Minnie, and the Disneyland Resort itself are now on sale.
