The first day of Disney Genie at Disneyland Resort has been plagued by technical issues. As we already reported, the Disneyland App seems to be completely down, rendering not only Disney Genie services unusable, but also other functions out-of-reach, such as dining reservations. Guests who purchased Genie+ must now visit a guest relations location to make any Lightning Lane selection.
The lines at guest relations today are 30-60 minutes long as Cast Members attempt to help guests.
Unfortunately, guests can only hold one Lightning Lane selection at a time, so guests who purchased Genie+ in the morning will have to keep returning to guest relations to make each selection.
When we visited guest relations, Cast Members told us they would be attempting a hard reset of the system.
