PHOTOS, VIDEO: 2021 Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade Behind the Scenes Sneak Peek

In just two days, a Christmas tradition returns with the 2021 Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade on ABC. From a sneak preview of the newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet to a celebration of Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary, there’ll be plenty to enjoy!

It’s almost time for one of our favorite holiday traditions! I know I can’t wait to cozy up to the fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa when the “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade” airs Christmas Morning on ABC at 10 a.m. ET and 9 a.m. CT/PT. It begins streaming the next day on Hulu.


Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort will sparkle with holiday cheer and incredible musical performances, heartwarming moments and special looks, including an enchanting behind-the-scenes peek at Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Wish. As part of The World’s Most Magical Celebration, commemorating 50 years of Walt Disney World Resort, every touch of holiday magic will be an extra special, EARidescent treat.


Comedian Kevin Nealon plays the role of KEVIN WINTERBEAN, also known as The Christmas Day Guy. His job is to answer any and all questions relating to Christmas Day. Throughout the Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade, we will check in with the Christmas Day Guy. 


Derek and Julianne Hough return to host the “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade,” from Walt Disney World Resort, alongside Freeform’s Trevor Jackson (“grown-ish”) and Sherry Cola (“Good Trouble”) from the Disneyland Resort.

In addition to the beloved Christmas Day parade itself, musical performances for “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade” include:

  • Gwen Stefani – “Cheer for the Elves”
