The trailer had previously debuted as a post-credits scene for “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” with dialogue from that movie being used in the opening of the teaser.

In the teaser, Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), has to contend with a threat from the multiverse, as well as the return of his friend-turned-foe, Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor). To do this, Strange turns to Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen). This is the first feature film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to deeply incorporate the events of Marvel’s Disney+ shows, with the events of “WandaVision” being mentioned, as well as what appears to be the return of the Strange Supreme character seen in the animated series “What If…?”

  1. The thing I liked about the first Ironman was is seemed to take place in a “some what” plausible world, but Marvel films just keep moving farther and farther away from that… This feels more like The Multiverse of Nonsense than Madness… I think Marvel jumped the shark with Infinity War/Endgame, the average person was coming to see Robert Downey Jr. not The MCU’s endless, supernatural, soap opera of plot twists and cliff hangers …every time one of these characters mentions “the blip” I roll my eyes
