• Dave Avanzino is a Disney Artist who specializes in mixed media, and his work can be found near the Germany Pavilion.
• After yesterday’s seven-hour queue for the Figment Popcorn Bucket, the accompanying rainbow popcorn has sold out.
• While Vibrante & Vívido made an appearance at last year’s EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, this year it returns themed to Disney’s newest hit film, “Encanto.”
• Eric Idle, who portrays Dr. Nigel Channing in Journey to Imagination with Figment at EPCOT, recently commented on Twitter about the current popcorn bucket craze.
• Tangierine Café: Flavors of the Medina has become the new permanent festival offering at the Morocco Pavilion, and makes its EPCOT International Festival of the Arts debut in 2022.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

• Just in time for the chilly weather here in Central Florida, Olaf has returned for a character sighting in Celebrity Spotlight.
• The saga of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster’s operational issues continues today as the ride failed to open this morning.
• Following in the footsteps of its neighbor Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance has yet to open today at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Other Walt Disney World News

• Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park will be closed once again on January 16 and 17 due to low temperatures.

Disneyland Resort

• The Disneyland Monorail was scheduled to close temporarily on January 24, but that date has now been pushed back until February 14.
• Tsunami advisories have been issued along the west coast of California, including Los Angeles and Orange counties.
• The Cherry Cheesecake Bread Pudding has returned to the Pacific Wharf Cafe at Disney California Adventure for a limited time.

Entertainment and Media

• A limited series continuing “The Santa Clause” franchise is coming to Disney+, with Tim Allen returning as Scott Calvin.
