Disney to Release More Information about Non-Distanced Character Meet and Greets Tomorrow

The official Disney Parks TikTok account just released a short video, starring our pal Mickey Mouse, signifying that non-distanced character meet and greets will be returning to Disney Parks very soon.

The video shows Mickey Mouse inviting us in for a hug. The caption says, “The moment we’ve been waiting for.” Disney also included hashtags for Disney Parks, Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, and Aulani signifying that non-distanced character meet and greets will most likely be returning to these specific parks and resorts.

For now, Walt Disney World has “character sightings,” with the characters appearing at least six feet away from guests. Many indoor character sightings have returned with this distancing, though some characters still only greet guests outside.

Earlier today, we reported how non-distanced character meet and greets could be returning as soon as mid-April, right after Easter. According to the TikTok, more details about character meet and greets will be announced tomorrow.

And of course, we’ll have all the coverage for you so check back to WDWNT tomorrow for all the details!

  1. Oh my God it’s actually happening. I have been waiting and hoping for this for two years. And now it’s finally happening. Still a bit jealous that Paris got it back first though.
