“We Don’t Talk About Bruno” from “Encanto” will be performed live for the first time at this year’s Oscars, airing on ABC March 27.

The ensemble number, written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, has been a huge hit, including reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It is not nominated for Best Original Song at the Oscars, “Dos Oruguitas” performed by Sebastián Yatra is instead.

“Encanto” was recorded during COVID-19 lockdowns, so the cast or crew were never together when creating the song.
