Blue Bayou Restaurant Closed, Refurbishment Ongoing in New Orleans Square at Disneyland

Though some construction walls were removed, the refurbishment of Pirates of the Caribbean and New Orleans Square in Disneyland continues.

The walkway directly in front of Pirates of the Caribbean is being refurbished.

“Something new is cooking” inside the old Le Bat en Rouge location, but we have not seen or heard any updates.

There are two tall towers of scrim in the land, too, where projectors for Fantasmic! are being refurbished.

Disney is hoping to improve traffic flow through New Orleans Square before “Fantasmic” returns next month.
