New Downtown Disney District Logo Visible in Reimagining Concept Art

New concept art for the reimagining of Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort seems to reveal a new logo for the district.

Downtown Disney District concept art
The evolution of the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif. began in 2018, and the transformation work continues to introduce more innovative shopping, dining and entertainment experiences. Drawing inspiration from Southern California mid-century modern architecture, the west-end area will be a beautiful blend of vibrant color palettes, design elements and patterns influenced by the region, and will include an open lawn for relaxation and future events, and an even broader and diverse collection of dining and shopping. The logo, seen in the background of the concept art, is blue and white. It reads just “Downtown Disney,” with no “District.” It uses the same Walt Disney signature font used in the updated Walt Disney Imagineering logo, seen below.

Note how the “D”s all have a unique curve at the top.
