New Kiosk Erected Outside Star Wars Trading Post in Downtown Disney District

As mysterious as the Force itself, a new kiosk has been erected next to Star Wars Trading Post in the Downtown Disney District.

The kiosk is currently obscured with themed construction walls and camouflage netting.

It has raised panels on at least three sides, suggesting that it could be used to sell additional merchandise outside of the store.

The timing of its arrival means it’s likely to be used for merchandise for May the 4th, commonly known as Star Wars Day by fans. If the past is any inclination, there’s typically a slew of new items released on the day.

Until recently, the site had been used for the throne photo op tied to the Disney+ series “The Book of Boba Fett,” as seen below.

Given that it looks mostly ready, we’ll likely soon know what the structure is for.

  1. It’s likely for the premiere of Kenobi on Disney Plus. I’m sure there will be limited merch. Chapek doesn’t miss an opportunity to profit off of anything.
