Bridge Removed, Some Scaffolding Comes Down Around Site of Former Tarzan’s Treehouse at Disneyland

Greetings from Disneyland! The retheming of the former Tarzan’s Treehouse continues to move forward, with some significant changes in the past few days. Let’s take a look!

Walking through Adventureland, the most noticeable change is that the rope bridge has now been completely removed.

Meanwhile, some of the scaffolding on the right side of the above photo has begun to come down, with the towering tan structure becoming considerably shorter since our last visit.

Passing between the two sections, we can see where the bridge used to be, now covered up by scrim.

As the attraction undergoes a retheming, rumored to be to Antonio’s jungle-like bedroom from “Encanto,” it’s unclear if the bridge will be replaced or if its removal is permanent.

When we passed by the following day, the structure appeared even shorter. This could indicate that this section may be demolished, though it’s too soon to tell.

Meanwhile, the foliage of the Indiana Jones Adventure entrance shrouds the main structure from the walkway.

Overall, things seem to be moving quickly in Adventureland.
