Magic Kingdom
- Pavement replacement is currently underway on Center Street in Main Street, U.S.A.
- At long last, the Harmony Barber Shop on Main Street, U.S.A. will finally reopen on July 31.
- Additionally, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will also return to both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts later this year, although no specific date was announced.
- Late-night fireworks testing will take place on the evening of May 18 around 11:30pm.
- The finale of “Disney Enchantment” has been modified to add more laser effects and pyrotechnics.
EPCOT
- Welcome to EPCOT, we’re checking in on a new Belle nuiMOs plush, Disneyland Paris 30th Anniversary merchandise, and more in our latest photo report!
- EPCOT will be closing a bit early on June 5, and no “Harmonious!” performance is scheduled for that day.
- Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will be available to select Resort Hotel Guests with the virtual queue during Extended Evening Hours.
- Meanwhile, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will move from the Individual Lightning Lane selections to standard Disney Genie+ starting May 31.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Disney has announced that Disney’s Animal Kingdom is participating in a research project regarding rhinoceros fitness using activity trackers.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- We chowed down on a new Orange Bird cake pop and Brownie Crispy Cone at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
- Reconstruction is underway on a stairwell at The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
New Merchandise
- We’re celebrating 30 years of Disneyland Paris with new merchandise we spotted at the France Pavilion in EPCOT!
- Series 3 of Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction, themed to Mad Tea Party, will hit shopDisney on May 20 at 7am PDT.

Disneyland Resort
- “Fantasmic!” dining packages will return to the Hungry Bear Restaurant and River Belle Terrace this summer at Disneyland.
- A complimentary “World of Color” PhotoPass shot is now available to Magic Key holders.
- Better assemble for this new Captain America zip-up jacket we found at the Avengers Super Store in Disney California Adventure!
Disney Cruise Line
- Disney Cruise Line will no longer perform COVID-19 tests upon embarkation for fully vaccinated guests, asking instead that guests provide their own tests before boarding.
Entertainment and Media
- Rosario Dawson, Pedro Pascal, Ewan McGregor, and Diego Luna take center stage on the cover of Vanity Fair’s new Star Wars issue celebrating current and upcoming Star Wars series on Disney+.
- New plot details have been revealed for “Andor”, which will air later this summer on Disney+.
- Star Wars 45th Anniversary and Star Tours 35th Anniversary pins will be available exclusively to D23 members starting May 23.
- Ad-supported Disney+ will not feature any ads with alcohol or political content.
- A new Star Wars series directed by “Spider-Man: No Way Home” director Jon Watts is reportedly in development.
- The trailer and release date for “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” on Disney+ was dropped today during Disney Upfront in New York.
- We also learned that “Loki” was the top Marvel show on Disney+ in 2021 and production on its second season will kick off soon.
- Finally, Hocus Pocus 2 will materialize on Disney+ starting September 30 featuring the three iconic Sanderson Sisters returning.

- During today’s Disney Upfront presentation, CEO Bob Chapek boasted that Disney is “unrivaled” and “the most powerful force in the industry”.
