Items Removed, New Dishes Added, Prices Raised at GCH Craftsman Grill

The menu for GCH Craftsman Grill at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel has seen several changes, including new items and price hikes.

Some of the same changes have been made at the adjacent GCH Craftsman Bar.

Breakfast

The following items have been removed:

  • Three-cheese quiche
  • Roasted vegetable quiche
  • Egg white scramble
  • Biscuit french toast
  • Avocado toast
  • Breakfast burrito
  • Roasted curried cauliflower salad

The allergy-friendly versions of these items were removed too.

New to the menu are:

  • Poached egg with avocado and bagel crisps ( $16)
  • Egg white omelet ($12)
  • Huevos rancheros breakfast flatbread ($18)
  • Breakfast sandwich ($17)
  • Wet breakfast burrito ($14)
  • Bread pudding ($14)
  • Cobb salad ($14)

And allergy-friendly versions of these.

The smoked salmon bagel sandwich is now $18 instead of $17. The Belgian waffle is now $14 instead of $13. The grab ‘n’ go caesar salad is now listed as specifically a chicken caesar salad.

Lunch & Dinner

The Hot Dog of the Month for May is a Gordita Dog for $13, replacing the Earth Day hot dog.

The following items were removed:

  • Avocado toast
  • Maine lobster quesadilla
  • Black truffle-charred cauliflower grilled cheese sandwich
  • Cali sliders
  • Garlic-soy-glazed chicken wings
  • Rice bowl
  • L:emon-sumac salmon salad
  • Mortadella sandwich
  • Prosciutto, burrata, and tomato sandwich
  • Curried chicken sandwich

And allergy-friendly versions of these dishes.

These dishes were added:

  • Avocado Panzanella ($19)
  • Carnitas quesadilla ($25)
  • Mediterranean wagyu burger ($22)
  • Mole poblano chicken wings ($19)
  • Bulgogi beef skewer rice bowl ($20)
  • Seared salmon salad ($21)
  • Impossible meatballs with marinara sauce ($21)
  • Italian sandwich ($14)
  • Turkey and swiss sandwich ($13)
  • Grilled vegetable wrap ($13)
  • Cobb salad ($14)

And allergy-friendly versions of these dishes.

The Black Angus Flat Iron Steak Salad is now just listed as the Flat Iron Steak Salad for $28. The Poke Bowl is now $18 instead of $17. The Double-baked Nachos are now just Baked Nachos, still for $23. The classic sundae is now $10 instead of $8.

As for pizza, the Margherita pizza is now $24 instead of $23 and the classic pepperoni pizza is $26 instead of $23. The charcuterie pizza is $27 instead of $26 and the forest mushroom Impossible sausage pizza is $26 instead of $23.

A $6 Kids’ Power Pack was added to lunch and dinner. It includes: Yogurt Smoothie, a Cuties® Mandarin Orange, Carrots, and Whole-Grain “Fish” Crackers, served with choice of small Lowfat Milk or small DASANI® Water.

The Star Wars maple bar ($9), vanilla cake donut ($7.50), and lemon cupcake ($8) are currently available all day in honor of May the 4th.

  1. This is ridiculous and happening across Disneyland and DCA. And not only are they giving us less and charging us more – the Chapek way – they have reduced capacity at Cafe Orleans and Carthay Circle, just to name a few. Why? They say limited staff. That’s not true. They’ve cut staff and are trying to maximize profit – higher prices, less food to buy for the menu and lower employment costs. Chapek touting record profits – is from his price gouging us, monetizing every single aspect of a trip to the park, and the hotels. Nothing is included anymore. It’s a disgrace. Put Josh in Chapek’s spot.
