More ‘Star Wars’ Day Experiences Announced for Disneyland Resort

Disneyland Resort has announced more offerings and details about Star Wars Day celebrations available tomorrow, May the 4th.

Space Mountain in Tomorrowland is currently Hyperspace Mountain for a limited time through July 4.

Disneyland captain phasma and stormtroopers

Captain Phasma and a detachment of Stormtroopers will patrol Tomorrowland for a limited time. Disneyland also indicates we may see other “Star Wars” characters in the land soon.

A photo op of Boba Fett’s throne from “The Book of Boba Fett” will be available in Tomorrowland. Guests will also be able to recreate a scene from season two of “The Mandalorian” when Grogu connects to the Force at the Jedi temple.

Limited-time Magic Shots featuring Stormtroopers and K-2SO will be available with PhotoPass photographers in Tomorrowland. Guests can get a Magic Shot with Grogu at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

This souvenir Bubo Wamba Family Farms cup will be available at the milk stand in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at both Disneyland Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The milk stand will also serve the new Blue Milk: Mon Cala Swirl.

Guests can try the new Ishi Tib-style Pasta with Braised Beef Banthak at Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo and Sullust Garlic Chips at Jat Kaa’s Coolers.

At Galactic Grill in Tomorrowland, the new Parfait of Mustafar will be available.

These will be available throughout May and June.

New merchandise will arrive at both Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Tomorrowland, including new droid builds and lightsaber hilts.

Star Wars Trading Post in Downtown Disney District will be expanded to offer additional merchandise. Downtown Disney District will also have more limited-time photo ops and a “Star Wars” sand sculpture.

Visit The LEGO Store through May 4 to help a LEGO Master Builder build an 8-foot-tall Yoda model, which will then be on display until May 8. Build times will be posted daily.

“Star Wars”-themed food can also be found throughout Downtown Disney District, including a Galaxy Caramel Macaron at Kayla’s Cake and a Light Classic Shake and a Dark Classic Shake at Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes. “Star Wars” merchandise is available at Lovepop, California Sole, Pandora Jewelry, and more shops.

At Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, a rice crispy model of Batuu is on display, and “Star Wars” treats are from the holiday cart (read our review). During select nights in May, guests staying at one of the hotels of the Disneyland Resort may be able to experience movie nights featuring Episodes VII – IX from the Skywalker Saga.
