Peter Rice, the chairman of Disney General Entertainment Content, is leaving The Walt Disney Company, Deadline reports.
Chairman of Entertainment, Walt Disney Television, Dana Walden will replace Rice.
Rice had worked for 21st Century Fox since the 1980s and ended up at The Walt Disney Company when they acquired Fox’s assets.
Walden also previously worked for 21st Century Fox.

With talk about Rice being a possible successor, Chapek decided to end it by firing Rice. Why else would he ax the successful and well-liked Rice who has two more years on his contract (which has to be paid in full}. Another negative notch to Chapek’s legacy.
