Ballast Point Brewing Company at Downtown Disney District is serving up a new version of their Pumpkin Down Float this Halloween.
Pumpkin Down Float – $15
Pumpkin Down Scottish ale, vanilla bean ice cream, rimmed with caramel drizzle and topped with a pumpkin spice strudel
This is obviously fantastic. It’s different than last year as they added some caramel around the rim and the pumpkin spice strudel.
The strudel adds some crunchy texture which is a nice contrast to the otherwise creamy dessert.
The Pumpkin Down beer this year doesn’t taste as pumpkin-forward. It has just enough pumpkin kick to make this the perfect October dessert for adults.
It’s sweet enough to cut the slight alcohol taste from the beer but not overly sweet.
Do yourself a favor if you’re craving an ice cream dessert and skip Black Tap. Walk up here instead to grab this for spooky season.
The Pumpkin Down Float is available while supplies last this month.
