Hazelnut chocolate, spicy chocolate streusel, and mini marshmallows

This churro was somewhat disappointing. It’s not that the chocolate-dusted churro was bad, it just didn’t bring a lot of flavor. Being as it takes the place of the cinnamon sugar of a traditional churro, it is a little less enjoyable.

The hazelnut chocolate drizzle is pleasant but doesn’t really make up for the lackluster churro. The spicy chocolate streusel isn’t so much a part of the churro as it is just served alongside. The chunks are so large that they don’t really go with the churro, no matter how hard you try.

But that’s a good thing as they are not great, bringing a generic “gas station salsa-flavored corn chip” flavor to the mix that we would just as soon leave out. Overall, this isn’t great, and we will skip this next time we visit the Tivan Collection.
